With local and European elections in June as well as the distinct possibility of a general election at some stage over the coming months all those eligible to vote should check the register of electors to ensure their vote will be counted when the time comes.
If your details do not appear and are not included at another address you must complete an application form (RFA2) for inclusion in the supplement to the 2009/2010 Register.
If you are on the register but have moved address from one Dáil constituency, or local electoral area, to another you must complete an application form (RFA3).
Completed forms should be returned directly by you to your city or county council. In relation to the Local and European elections being held on 5 June 2009, the completed forms must reach the relevant council not later than Monday 18th May 2009.
In our democracy we don’t get to make every decision but we do get to elected those who do. Your vote is your voice and it is vital you use it.
If you can’t print the form you can get it at any local authority office, post office, Garda station and at all public libraries.
