I saw an article from your leaflet recently, regarding the re-surface of some of the Estate roads. I am living at 46 Woodview Pinecroft Grange Douglas Cork. The road outside of my house was re-surfaced at the end of last year. Before the re-surface, the condition of the road was very good. After the re-surface, the road was very bad and lumpy. Now there are a lot of loose little stones on the road. Some stones got carried into my drive. Summer is here and the kids will be out playing. It is actually very dangerous with all these loose little stones. They are very slippy. Would you be able to inform me where I can officially write a letter, or log in a complaint to the Cork County Council, regarding this matter. I am preparing to send in a couple of these loose stones to the Council.
Hi Liam,
I’m actually working on getting a road sweeper into Woodview at the
moment to clear up that mess. I’ve been in Woodview recently and agree
that the stones would be a disaster if a kid were to come off a bike
or fall playing football.
You can send a letter to;
Liam Singleton
Cork County Council
Area Office Carrigaline
Church RD
Carrigaline
Co. Cork
Liam Singleton is the area engineer responsible for our area of the county.
You can also ring the office on 4371800. I have already requested this
issue be sorted but the more people contact them the more likely they
actually act on it.
I will also contact the area engineers office on Tuesday to tell them
I received another complaint about the condition of the road. I hope
that my response has been of some help. If there is anything else
don’t hesitate to give me a shout.
